Bahir 143

Where does Wisdom go to share its light? To Binah, understanding the container where the mold is prepared to be fired in the kiln of Zeir Anpin the lower six Sephiroth.

Bahir Verse 143. The third one is the quarry of the Torah, the treasury of Wisdom, the quarry of the "spirit of God". This teaches us that God carved out all the letters of the Torah, engraved it with spirit, and with it made all Forms. This is the meaning of the verse (1 Samuel 2:2), "There is no Rock (Tzur) like our God" there is no Former (Tzayir) like our God.

Commentary: The quarry of the Torah where the forms of being are carved out. The Treasury of Wisdom and the quarry of the spirit of God. There is the initial sending forth out of Keter where Elohim says let there be light and then in Chokmah YHVH reflects that light in man's eyes who speaks his heart's desire and then in Binah the mold is delineated. There is a carving of your intention into the mind stuff of the spirit of God.

Find 1 Samuel 22 here. 1 Samuel 2:2

The sense of these next few verses is that here is where out heart's desire assumes its mold of permanency. Everything happens here in Binah prior to the sending forth into manifestation.
2 There is none holy as the LORD, for there is none beside Thee; neither is there any rock like our God.
3 Multiply not exceeding proud talk; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth; for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed.

We are told to watch our thoughts and actions because G-d forbid we would not want to experience the negative results of idle or impure thoughts. You see by the time the thought arrives in Binah it is ready for generation. Here in Binah we may ask for forgiveness in that we can amend our wayward unconscious actions so that only what we truly intend will then come forward into the flow of our lives. Both Tzur and Tzayir have the same root. The making of rock into form incurs the addition of Yud which is the spirit of God that follows our intention so that we see what we think according to G-ds Will..
